Terms of use, not financial advice, risk disclosure, AI output, privacy, data attribution.
Plain language, binding on us. This page is not legal advice and was not written by a lawyer; counsel review is on the launch checklist, and this page will change when it happens.
Terms of use#
dexterm is software you run on your own machine, provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law the project and its contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use, including trading losses, data errors, outages of the third-party services it reads, or model output. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any restriction on trading digital assets where you live. You may not use dexterm to harass, defraud or attack anyone, to scrape services against their terms, or to misrepresent its output as advice or certification. These terms will be refined with the public release; using the software after a change means accepting the change.
Not financial advice#
dexterm is a screening tool. It shows public market data, on-chain facts and risk signals, and labels what it cannot verify. Nothing in the app, in its model output, on this site or in any account that speaks for the project is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell anything. The analyst's "call" lines (LONG, SHORT, WAIT, AVOID) are a model's reading of tool results for you to check, not instructions. You alone are responsible for your decisions.
Risk disclosure#
Memecoins are extremely risky and most go to zero. Liquidity can vanish in a block; creators can hold hidden supply; a token's website, socials and claims can be fabricated; price data from any source can lag or be manipulated. dexterm's risk signals (RugCheck, GoPlus, authorities, holder concentration, the LARP detector, scan triggers) are heuristics with false positives and false negatives; "REAL" is not a certificate and "clean" is not safe. Paper results are not predictive: a paper fill takes the quote at its word while a real fill pays slippage, fees and failed transactions. If real trading ever ships, you will hold the keys and bear every loss.
AI output#
The analyst runs your own Claude Code login on your machine. Its output is a model's reading of tool results and is labelled model output with the age of every number. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and it can be targeted by text planted in token metadata or on a token's website; dexterm wraps such text as untrusted and flags injection attempts, but no filter is perfect. Treat every sentence as a starting point for your own checking. Your use of Claude is governed by your own agreement with Anthropic, and the usage is billed to you.
Privacy#
This website. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, fonts, embeds or forms. There is nothing to consent to and no banner. The static host that serves these files keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) under its own privacy policy for its own operational purposes; we do not receive, add to or analyse them beyond what the host shows every customer. No accounts, no email list.
The app. dexterm has no server, no account and no telemetry; it does not report usage, crashes or anything else to us. It stores its state locally: a SQLite database (cache, watchlist, request counters, the paper wallet) under your home directory, a small state file, and the optional RPC key file you create. Delete them and dexterm forgets everything. It sends requests directly from your machine to public data APIs; each sees your IP address and the addresses you look up under its own terms. The trust page lists every host. If you use the analyst, the prompt dexterm builds is sent to Anthropic through your own Claude Code login under your own agreement.
Data sources, attribution and terms#
dexterm reads public APIs under their published terms and attributes them in the app and here. Trademarks belong to their owners; none of these providers endorses dexterm.
- DexScreener: market data (free tier; attribution).
- Jupiter: token list, organic score, holder aggregates, prices, swap quotes (keyless; optional free key).
- GeckoTerminal: candles and trades (keyless; attribution).
- RugCheck and GoPlus: security summaries (keyless).
- PumpPortal: new token and migration events (keyless data stream).
- Helius: optional RPC with your own free key.
- The Solana public RPC and PublicNode: chain reads.
- RDAP via rdap.org and the GitHub API: product vetting (keyless).
- TradingView Lightweight Charts™ (Apache-2.0): the chart popup; attribution shown on the chart as its licence requires.
- Anthropic's Claude, through your own Claude Code login.
No token#
There is no dexterm token, fee share, holder reward or airdrop, and this site will never ask you to connect a wallet.
Names and marks#
dexterm is the project's name. Solana, Phantom, Jupiter, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, RugCheck, GoPlus, Helius, TradingView, GitHub, Anthropic and Claude are the marks of their owners and are used here only to describe compatibility and data sources.
Contact#
A contact address for legal and takedown requests goes here once Joey picks one. Until then, see the trust page.
